Nath has always been more interested in what's hidden than what's in plain sight. Growing up with his nose buried in adventure stories and old maps, he never quite fit into the ordinary world — and stopped trying a long time ago. Charming, reckless, and perpetually broke, he chases legends for a living, taking odd jobs between expeditions just to keep moving.

His latest obsession is El' Whorado, a mythical place most people write off as fantasy. Nath isn't most people. This time he's not going alone — his experienced mentor Salli has agreed to join the hunt, and along the way they pick up Helena, a sharp and dangerously attractive journalist with her own reasons for seeking the legend.
